Improving science education in the earliest grades is a major goal of The Story Laboratory.

Through the original, inquiry-based, active-learning curricula we create, we seek to help children develop an infrastructure of imagination that prepares them to manage the complexity of 21st century science.

We are fortunate to have leading scientists who serve as The Story Laboratory’s Visiting Scholars help us do this. They provide inspiration and insights that we use in working with children to develop curricula.
